1. The Service
Tracepool is a read-only blockchain intelligence surface. It aggregates, indexes, normalizes, visualizes, and re-presents publicly available on-chain information — including raw transactions, unconfirmed mempool entries, mined blocks, gas markets, fee estimates, address balances, token movements, and heuristic risk indicators — sourced from open third-party providers such as mempool.space and public Ethereum JSON-RPC endpoints. We do not broadcast transactions, sign anything on your behalf, custody assets, or act as a broker, dealer, exchange, or fiduciary of any kind.
2. No Financial Advice
Nothing displayed through the Service constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, nor should it be interpreted as a solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell, hold, stake, or bridge any digital asset. Cryptocurrencies are volatile and can lose significant value quickly. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits, risks, and legality of any decision you take, and you agree to consult appropriately licensed professionals before acting.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You will not: submit automated traffic that exceeds reasonable rate limits; scrape, mirror, or bulk-export data other than through interfaces we designate; reverse engineer non-public components; circumvent security or access controls; use the Service to facilitate criminal activity, sanctions violations, or fraud; upload unlawful content; or resell the Service without a written agreement. We may suspend or ban any user we believe is violating these Terms.
4. No Custody
Tracepool never takes custody of your funds and never requests private keys, seed phrases, mnemonic backups, hardware-wallet PINs, or exchange API keys. Any website, DM, email, phone call, or extension claiming to represent Tracepool and asking for such material — for any reason — is fraudulent. We will never DM you first, we will never ask for your seed, and we will never request funds.
5. Third-Party Data
On-chain information is sourced from third-party public infrastructure that we do not control. That infrastructure can lag, reorg, rate-limit, or fail. Prices, fee estimates, USD conversions, contract labels, method decodings, and risk indicators may be delayed, approximated, or wrong. You must not rely on a single reading for time-sensitive, financial, legal, or safety decisions without independent cross-verification.
6. Intellectual Property
The Tracepool name, logo, wordmark, interface designs, source code, documentation, and heuristic scoring models are protected by copyright, trademark, and database laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view and quote reasonable excerpts for personal, non-commercial, or journalistic purposes, provided you preserve attribution. All other rights are reserved.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or free of errors.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL TRACEPOOL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tracepool from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in-product. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
